Rugbi Industrial Supplies are in the process of developing a understanding of its Scope (1, 2 & 3) carbon emissions.
Scope 1 at Rugbi Industrial Supplies solely consists of fuel usage of company vans used for the transportation of goods.
Scope 2 consists of the electricity usage of the Rugbi Industrial Supplies building and its company electric vehicles that are predominantly charged at the unit. Location-based emission factors have been used.
Scope 3 emissions for all 15 categories have been evaluated and currently the following have been included:

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
• Reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 5% year on year
• Develop a full scope 3 baseline for 2027
• Scope 3 emissions by 1% year on year
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 1867tco2e by 2030. This is a reduction of 6%.

This is the first year that we as an organisation have calculated our baseline emissions and therefore no measurable emission reduction projects have been achieved.

Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with Green Dragon and Net Zero Standard, PPN 006 associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans. Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and uses the appropriate government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements (where required), and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
